This collection brings together 14 traditional Christmas carols arranged by the composer Carl Riedel, along with 10 original classical works for the Christmas season.

In the late 19th century, this collection was widely distributed and undoubtedly helped shape what we still recognize today as traditional Christmas music.

The arrangements are skillful, atmospheric, sonorous, and at the same time very playable.
